CYS Colored TPU

CYS TPU films are paint-protecting colored films for partial and full vehicle wraps. The application and removal of CYS TPU films should only be carried out by qualified professionals (e.g., trained and experienced sign makers or film installers) according to our processing instructions.

Improper or incorrect application or removal of CYS TPU films can damage the paintwork of the affected vehicle and/or significantly reduce the durability of the CYS TPU films.

The expected service life specified in the technical data sheets describes maximum values that can be achieved under normal Central European environmental conditions. No guarantee, warranty or other claims can generally be derived from the information on the expected maximum service life. They are based on empirical values from artificial and natural weathering results under standard conditions. The actual durability that can be achieved depends on a number of individual factors, such as care, environmental conditions and preparation of the substrate to be bonded. Slight changes due to ageing are possible during the period of expected durability. TPU films have a very high weather and UV stability by nature, there are no significant restrictions regarding the expected durability when applied horizontally.

A reduction in the useful life of CYS TPU films can occur, among other things:

• when used on unsuitable surfaces
• if the substrate has not been sufficiently cleaned
• if films are permanently exposed to high temperatures and/or high humidity
• if films are not cleaned regularly; e.g. if insect residues or bird droppings are not removed promptly
• in the event of prolonged stays in highly polluted environmental zones (e.g. air pollution / particles from industry)
